Reticule bag, based on an original late Victorian bag Liuba Tabunidze at Art Embroidery digitised the embroidery design available on Etsy. The bag is quite spacious and can comfortably hold my large purse and phone with room to spare.

This reticule bag popular in the Regency period is based on a French design from the 1830s. This one has 4 panels; made by me in Duchess satin.

Lucy Locket lost her pocket.... at one time pockets were seperate from the outer garments. They were worn under skirts and underskirts and accessed through openings in the sides of the garments. They held money, keys, a sewing kit or maybe gloves, tied on around the waist they were worn singly or in pairs, hence Lucy's ribbon must have become untied causing her to loose her pocket.
I made these in Duchess satin , lined in cotton, embroidered using Floriani thread using a digitised design prepared by Art Embroidery from Liuba Tabunidze 's Etsy shop.
