My work proves to me every single day that I’m doing something truly meaningful.
This year, one of my beautiful clients turned 100 years old… that half of my age.
What a special connection between us. Coming to Eva Sewing Room is not only about alterations or tailoring — it’s about smiles, conversations, kindness, and sharing stories about life and how beautiful it truly is.
Today we wished each other another 50 wonderful years of life, and honestly… what a beautiful age to reach. I wish everyone could wake up every day and do what they truly love — just like I love my work, my clients, and meeting incredible people along the way.

Our high streets, communities, and social feeds are slowly being filled by the “big boys” — and while I completely understand that chains provide jobs for local people, it’s hard to ignore the impact they’re having on small independent businesses.

So many independents offer something the chains simply can’t replicate: real passion, personal service, unique products, proper care, creativity, quality, and that feeling of being genuinely valued as a customer.

When we lose independent businesses, we don’t just lose shops, cafés, salons, makers, creatives, or services — we lose character. We lose choice. We lose the people who pour their heart, time, money, and energy into building something special.
