Reflecting on the most wonderful night celebrating an incredible milestone for our family business… Best Family Business in Southport! 🏆❤️

We are still completely overwhelmed and so incredibly proud. After 60 years of family, fashion, memories and dressing generations of families, this award means more than we could ever put into words. 🥹✨

A huge thank you to Seen in Southport and the whole team for putting on such a fabulous evening and for celebrating the amazing businesses that make Southport so special. 🥂

And, of course, thank you to everyone who celebrated with us last night — our family, friends, customers, past customers and everyone who has supported Dressed to Be Blessed along the way. This award is as much yours as it is ours. ❤️

Some of the faces in these photos go back decades, and looking through them brings back SO many memories. ❤️

We’ve watched little girls come into the shop full of excitement… and years later, they’ve returned as brides, mums, aunties and even brought their own children through our doors.

That is the magic of being a family business.

Tomorrow evening, we’ll be heading to the Southport Business Awards as finalists for not one, but TWO awards 🥹🏆

And what better time to take you on a little trip down memory lane…

Because behind the dresses, the sparkle, the appointments and the shop you see today is a story that started 60 years ago on the markets in Kirkby, with my mum, Jackie ❤️

From those early days on the market stalls…
👗 To building a business from the ground up
👩‍👧‍👧 To becoming a true family business
💍 To dressing generations of families for their most special occasions
🏪 To our journey through the years
📍 And eventually to Southport, where I opened our beautiful, expanded premises in October 2025.

60 years is a LOT of memories.
A LOT of dresses.
A LOT of customers.
And a LOT of family moments. 🥹
