Having put it off for the past 3 years I thought I should finally pop on here and introduce myself! Some of you I have met in store but for those of you that I haven’t … I’m Rachael and I am the ‘care taker’ (for want of a better description) of Denny’s, an independent, 6th generation men’s and womenswear boutique in the heart of beautiful Southwold!

The shop dates all the way back to 1851 when my husbands great, great grandfather, William Denny set up as a tailors in a room above number 11 Market Place where we still are today!

Just over 3 years ago life aligned for me to step into the business and be part of its chapter.

You won’t see my face on here very often as I tend to run as soon as I see a camera! But I think it’s probably time to start sharing a little of our amazing legacy we have here and hopefully bring you along on the next chapter of our history 💙💙
