Yesterday the studio was filled with chatter and laughter as the challenge presented itself to the ladies. With 4 zips of varying lengths we might have known Angela, was going to challenge us! Well you all rose to the challenge and produced some beautiful work. Well done.👏

Little update on where the participants of our mixed media wall hanging workshop are up to.

They’ve stitched, designed, stuffed, created, felted, embroidered cut, changed their minds and changed them back again, but most all persevered. Results will be uploaded soon so check back for the final results, and see how they got on.

Finally finished my very pretty polly. Never even attempted Gold work before and as a first attempt I’m fairly happy with it. The padded leather work was a little challenging to begin with, I swore, but once I got the hang of it its was fine. Just fiddly. What do you think?

Whilst we all chilled in the air conditioned studio today and busied our selves with some cool crafting, one lovely lady brought in a special treat for Niro. Not that he is in anyway spoilt! Thank You Jacqui.

What a truly sacred and soul-nourishing way to honour the Summer Solstice with the beautiful women of Hedgewitch 🌞🔥🌿

A day woven with creativity, laughter, sisterhood and midsummer magic — gathering in circle to craft creams and candles, sew, bind smudge bundles and wreaths, and work with our hands in rhythm with the turning of the Wheel. A celebration of the Sun at its peak, of abundance, beauty, connection and the simple joy of creating together.

There was delicious food, shared stories, much laughter, and of course sticky w***y infused water 🌿😉 — a little wild plant magic for the day.

I’m so thankful to have such a beautiful, restful and welcoming space to share with you all, and to all the lovely women who shared their energy, warmth and company for our celebration of Litha.

My heart feels full, my spirit nourished, and my soul grateful.

Solstice blessings to all — may the light of the Sun fill your path, your home and your spirit
