A good pair of sunglasses can help protect your eyes from UV while making bright days much more comfortable. Some eye conditions can develop gradually, so you may not notice anything is changing. That’s one reason regular eye examinations are important – even if you think your eyesight is fine. An eye examination isn’t simply a check to see whether you need new glasses. Your optometrist also looks at the health of your eyes and can advise you about your individual eye health.

If you’ve been putting off your next appointment, National Eye Health Week is a good reminder to get it booked.
