“The Earth Laughs in Flowers” Ralph Waldo Emerson
🌷
Seen as a champion of individualism and a prescient critic of the pressures of the society, Emerson was an ardent believer in the inherent goodness of people and nature. .
Today, we wearily rely on the inherent goodness in people around us as we collectively endure the ongoing uncertainty across the world. .
Additionally, it’s always a good idea to reconnect with nature and use the goodness in us to care for and laugh with the earth 💚🌏🧡

to this beautiful vintage display at a local pharmacy in Stamford. Loved the packaging of the pills 💕Wonder how these pill cases were reused once empty!? Honestly speaking, this was a first to see such simplicity classifications for medicines, memorising once prescription would have been so much easier then! Our favourite is 'Wind Pills' 😬 What's your favourite out of the lot?

‘Work from Home’ : My Four Years experience of heading a working team.
▫️
Limited funds and unlimited aspirations, it was imperative for my business to have a presence in different cities. I hired team members based out of London, Manchester, Cardiff, New Delhi whilst working from Cambridgeshire myself.
▫️
Below are some of the key benefits of home-working
- Team members feel appreciated with Zero micro-management
- Easier to conduct focused meetings (I used Skype)
- Flexibility factor for people with family caring responsibilities
- Increased performance due to limited distractions
- Time saved travelling to and from work can be utilised on personal development or doing something you love. Bake a cake perhaps?!
▫️
Some helpful tips
- Maintain a routine (as much as possible)
- Get dressed as your regular going out to work days
- Take regular breaks
- Be open about ANY problems with your employer. Please Do Not Hesitate, they are there to support you
- Keeping in contact with colleagues, even a text message saying ‘hello’ goes a long way.

'Amritsar to England: ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ'
December 2019, I visited Amritsar, my place of birth after a decade. The hustle bustle of old city was mesmerising yet overwhelming, probably due to my six year gap of visiting India.
Amritsar to England has been a long journey, full of laughter, pain, tears, gratitude, learning and most importantly rediscovering myself. It's taken me a lot of failures and losses to truly love myself. Unconditional self-love that does not fade away on bad days, because that's when I most need to remind myself that it's Ok to Feel and Fail.
I am often asked by the known, either directly or with an underlying message, of my plans to 'settle down'. Despite being polite, they tend to be unaware that polite concerns when expressed too often, become uncomfortable for the recipient. The not so known, who I’ve met during my entrepreneurial career in England, have often assumed that I am here with a genius husband who either works in IT or for NHS. Over the years I’ve mastered to ignore and laugh at these conversations, but at times I struggle to find entertainment in assumptions and stereotypes that society throws at us. I begin to falter, Self- Love comes really handy then!
Today, I want to reach out and thank everyone who has been instrumental in empowering me. I hope to keep contributing to create a more accepting world and celebrate each and everyone regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, parenthood status etc.
It's a privilege to breathe freedom. I wish to someday be able to say the same about every human who aspires to coin their personal definition of life 💕

Wait, did we say 'Lightweight' ?
Our ultra fine cashmere scarf is made of high quality fibre, also known as 'pashm' that comes from the cashmere goat in the Kashmir region of India. The fabric is highly sought after for it's extremely lightweight, soft, and durable qualities that draws on generations of ancestral skill. The scarf weighs just about 55 grams approximately which makes it a great accessory throughout the year💕
