Our final trading day in Black Orchid ltd.
Thank you so much to all our wonderful customers who have kept us afloat over the years ...and contributed to our pension fund! Through you we have seen all of life over the past 39 years...weddings, christenings, funerals, graduations, proms, parties, new homes, student digs, holidays. Break-ups and new beginnings.
We have loved being a part of your lives .
We shall be here till the end of June dismantling the shop fixtures and I will try to post items for sale/collection...I have never been very good at this stuff.

So ...in answer to queries....yes we will close after 40 years ...no we are not selling the business on...yes everything will have to go....yes we will still be trading in April ....no it does not mean I will be able to wear "normal clothes " . All answers to actual questions asked!

Sorry to report that Black Orchid will be closed for the day tomorrow Saturday 22nd as both Kate and I have tested positive for Covid (for the first time) and have used up all the spare staff to stay open the last couple of days. Sorry again (particularly for ourselves as we are proper poorly) Back on Tuesday as normal with or without me ! 😷
