Did you know that I actually designed our Wild Star print? What started out as doodling to help me through a tough time I was going through, ended up being something that now reminds me of how resilient and strong I actually am. To me, my Wild Star design is a symbol of bravery and that, even on the darkest of nights, the stars still shine bright. The patterns I design are unique to urban tigress and are protected. You shouldn’t be seeing them anywhere else (unless one of the fast fashion companies decided to steal them - something that is sadly not unheard of to some designers!).
It’s not something I shout loudly about, but these aren’t just leggings that I’ve bought in wholesale to sell on to you all. Everything about them has been designed by me, from the shape of them, the material we use, the very useful pockets on either side, to the (excuse the next words!) triangular gusset. Today I feel proud that I have achieved this. This isn’t something I trained or worked in before starting my business, but it proves that if you light that fire within you, you can achieve things you never thought possible.
No idea why I’m feeling proud today, but I am and why shouldn’t we celebrate ourselves every once in a while? Why not take a minute and find something within yourself that you are proud of today.
