Ok, so it’s not my most innovative display but after a crazy week with charity events, school end of term and most importantly, my nine year olds birthday 🎁 you may forgive me? ✅ At least I brought some colour and a strong trend right now with the Keep your fingers🤞🏼that we get some blooming lovely weather soon!!

This needs a space on the grid just to commemorate a massive leap I took out of my comfort zone yesterday. I was so grateful that my talented and lovely friend invited me to be part of a panel talk at the fashion show, to talk about 🩷 I am not a public speaker and it’s been years (plus more years) since I was on a catwalk, so I was a little bit (lots) nervous. Added to the fact filming for the were involved in the event also, added a little bit more anxiety 🩷 Thank-you Martine for being my belief system, a supporter and for pushing me gently along, for being my friend. 🩷

This deserves a place on the permanent grid! We all know this iconic magazine and the weight it carries on the fashion circuit - been a constant in my life for inspiration and images - like a bible to those trend worshippers 🙏🏼 So my giddy levels got turned up to 1️⃣1️⃣ when I learnt of having been featured in online about being one of the BEST vintage shops in 🙌🏼 Have a read on here for our section but I will add the link 🔗 in my stories so you can see some of the other sensational shops mentioned too.

Hasn’t this been the most magical series? Have you seen this yet, Small Prophets? If you have, you will have loved it, sunk right into the characters and got so involved in the story line. Probably binged a few episodes - I did! If you haven’t, go and watch. It is delightfully funny and such a compelling piece of screen writing. When I thought I recognised a scene in an episode as I did some digging and found out they did actually film within Then another scene made me pause and study a jacket an actor was wearing. That moment of “I’m sure that was mine?” When you spot a piece of vintage that you have sold (most traders, I know, can remember each piece they have ever bought and sold - I can, just don’t ask me what I had for tea two nights ago 😬) so off I went again, started digging and found the only picture I could as evidence that I was right! A fab piece of featured front and centre on this lovely programme 😊 that’s my chufty face.

This years is more alternative than your traditional one for these girls. These ladies are having a get together. They decided to dress in some fun and sassy lingerie and nightwear, not for anyone else but for themselves to feel sexy. They have their rollers in because they are having some self care, showing themselves some love. Because they look amazing they had to have a wardrobe change on the last two pictures because they sold their outfits to some other lucky people!

Happy birthday to me!! 11 years trading and still going 🤞🏼 I still can’t get my head round the fact I grew my little hobby of collecting vintage pieces of clothing and accessories into a profitable business 🤩 I love that I get to enjoy my ‘work’ and do something that allows my love of fashion and creativity come together. The fact you lovely customers and supporters validate that for me is incredible and I am 11 years in of appreciation to you all and will continue to be grateful 🙏🏼

Popped into this afternoon to check on my girls and to wish them a little they all got a little freshen up with some black and gold pieces all ready to celebrate the big man in the red suit coming tonight 🎅🏼 (even though we all know it’s the parental magic that makes it happen) I would like to wish everyone a very cosy crimbo and a happy and healthy New Year.
