As we get closer to launching Clothing for Safety , and as Women in Construction Week comes to an end, we wanted to share a story from our work with Clancy.
A new recruit approached us after years of struggling with poorly fitting FR Arc Flash PPE.
Due to her smaller stature, the available garments restricted her movement, affected her comfort, and even created safety risks when working, driving, or moving around site.
She also required an FR Arc Flash–rated hijab to meet both her faith and safety requirements - something rarely offered within traditional PPE ranges.
So we started with the most important step: listening to the wearer.
Through direct consultation, we sourced and delivered a fully compliant FR Arc Flash PPE solution, including an FR-rated hijab, designed to provide the fit, protection and comfort she needed to do her job safely.
For the first time in her career, she had PPE that truly worked for her.
Projects like this show why inclusive PPE matters.
When the industry listens to the end user and works collaboratively across the supply chain, we can create safer and more inclusive workplaces for everyone.
The launch of Clothing for Safety is about continuing that mission.
