Another great watercolour class over on by 💙💙💙 I really love how this turned out, this one might just end up on my wall! I love how watercolour looks so messy but then it somehow comes together at the end 🎨

I’m really enjoying doing some art at the moment. Watercolour is something I’ve always wanted to master but never quite made it. I’m making the most of my membership and loving classes over on there.

This is my second attempt at this lovely painting, still a long way to go but enjoying the learning process anyway!

I’m in love with sewing patterns ❤️

I’ve now made a matching rectangle top to go with my Hanbok skirt and it’s definitely one of my favourite handmade outfits in a long time. Such versatile styles that will be worn loads.

The fabric is a lovely linen from and it was perfect for these patterns.

Version 2 is already on the cutting table (yep also a check linen but different colour) ✂️✂️✂️

I started making this this time last year and thought I’d better get it finished! This was a test run and it turned out fully wearable so yay to that ☺️
It was a really satisfying sew with lots of nice finishing touches. I will make another version is better quality denim but this one will definitely get lots of wear too!

I truly have been doing a little sewing therapy this weekend after a rough few weeks. I loved making this skirt.

It’s the which is a lovely pattern to make. Nothing too difficult but the end result is perfect. It’s such a wearable skirt and lives up to its sewing therapy name.

I am going to make a matching top with the leftover fabric, but in the meantime it goes so well with loads of the tops that I already have in my wardrobe.

I will definitely be making this skirt in lots of different colours.

Let’s get this sashiko machine quilting started!!!

I really love this machine, it’s so clever! Not as authentic as hand stitched sashiko of course, but I’m really not a neat hand sewer so it’s perfect for me 🩷

I’ve selected the backing fabric for the quilt that I’m working on 🩷🩷🩷

What do you think?

All fabrics have been purchased from local fabric stores. The quilt top fat quarter bundle was from Angie quilts in Cheadle, the backing and solid fabrics were from

I’m hoping to get this completed over the next couple of weeks 🤞🤞🤞
