If there’s one quilt that reminds me of Covid its this one. I was lucky enough not to be furloughed and can honestly say, my busiest most stressful weeks of my work life were during those months of lockdown. At the end of each day though, I would sew at least one of the blocks for this quilt and it always soothed my soul. By the time I went downstairs to face cooking the evening meal, my mind was calmer and this quilt had taken the stresses of the day away.
