Well, what do you do when you are taking a short break from work? Visit a woollen mill of course!! We are staying right next door to Knockando woollen mill. It is a fascinating place to visit. They are keeping the history of woollen textiles alive and have their water wheel working again!

Good afternoon all. Reg is once again in his happy place - weaving with the Vuelta d’Espagne for company!
I am liking the look of this AMOR tweed large block check in herringbone weave. I am a lover of squares and always try to make our blocks as square as possible :-)
If you would like to reserve some of this fabric then please get in touch. You can also put in pre- orders for blankets, shawls and scarves in this weave.

I am busy in the warping shed today, preparing the next AMOR warp to start weaving on Monday. You may recognise by the set up that this is destined to be a large block check.
