Looking for ways to keep the kids entertained this summer?

Join us for another week of creative fun at Kids Stuff Stroud!

Our Summer Holiday Craft Tables are offered drop-in, join-in, pay-as-you-can, with a different activity every day from 10am-12pm.

🦉We are super excited to have So Hootiful Owls returning to Brimscombe Mill and Kids Stuff Stroud next week!

Save the date 📆 Friday 31st July

They were a huge hit last Summer and we’re thrilled to have them back in The Sanctuary

So Hootiful and her beautiful owl friends will be here 10am-12pm

🦉Kids Stuff drop-in and join-in craft table 10am - 12pm will be inspired by our feathered visitors Midnight and Moonlight. Join us to create Owl masks!

We look forward to welcome children and families to this very special event!

This event is offered Pay-as-you-can and is welcome to all ages 😀

Offered on a Pay-As-You-Can basis means . If you enjoy your time with and you're able to make a donation, it helps us continue providing sessions that support local families.

Whilst visiting brimscombemill and Stroud District Kids' Stuff you might find these amazing meal boxes!

Supplied by our sister company thegreatplatestroud Maisie’s meal boxes contain the ingredients to cook up a family meal for 4 and are completely free for families visiting us this summer!

Choose from gnocchi bolognaise and Magic Moroccan rice - don’t forget add the fresh veg (pepper and onion) to add to it!

That’s on top of all the craft and meals and activities and normal business you find every Monday - Saturday brimscombemill

SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER

Happy end of term! We wish everyone a fabulous Summer Holiday!

We have an amazing summer planned ahead with events and activities, all low-cost or Pay As You Can, at , Brimscombe Mill and The Long Table Stroud for children and families!

🎨 Next week it all begins with Kids Stuff’s daily drop-in Craft Tables! Monday to Saturday, 10am–12pm.

This is the 4th summer Kids Stuff has offered Summer Holiday Craft Tables. 💚🙌🏼

Every day there’s a different craft, from clay to crowns, junk modelling, Hama beads and so much more.

Today our pre-summer holidays sale rehomed:
280 items of clothing and shoes
234 toys
49 books
8 items of equipment
And 1 buggy!

That’s a huge: 572 items saved from landfill and re-used! 😃
Lots of happy hot people, slightly more ready for the school holidays!

We can’t do it without your amazing donations so Thank you!

☀️The countdown to the Summer Holidays is on!

🎨Which means our drop-in Summer Holiday Craft Tables start next week! Hooray! 🙌🏼

Our Craft Tables run daily throughout the holidays!
📅 Monday–Saturday
🕙 10am–12pm
all ages welcome.

(Monday to Friday craft tables are supervised and guided by a Kids Stuff team member.)

There’s nothing we love more at Kids Stuff during the holidays than the Mill filled with families and children playing in the play area, shopping pre-loved in our circular economy shop, and most importantly creating together at our craft tables, making memories, learning, experimenting, and leaving with something unique.

Join us for the last Kids Stuff Supported Drop-In tomorrow before the Summer holidays from 10 AM to 12 PM!

Mandy, our activities lead, will be there to welcome you as always 😀

We often invite community partners to join us, this week we have Emma Soares, Educational Psychologist, returning to the drop-in again to chat with families.

Sue from Clean Slate will be available to provide to support with budgeting advice and access to grants.

A selection of fruit, snacks, and hot and cold drinks will be provided.

The new improved fantastic indoor Play area is on hand to entertain your little ones.

Our Supported drop-in our weekly Wednesday community coffee morning will be back during term-time after the Summer holidays on 2nd September.

Our sessions maybe paused over the summer, but starting next week, we have a fun-filled six weeks of daily craft tables. Alongside a packed schedule of activities and events Brimscombe Mill and The Long Table Stroud planned, to support families throughout the holidays we can’t wait to see you!

Our wonderful team has been busy sorting donations and stock ready for a bumper pre school holiday Pop-Out to help you stock up on toys, games, boredom busters, potty training equipment, summer outfits and all the items you might need for the holidays.

At Tomorrow’s Supported Drop-in Community Coffee Morning.

We’re celebrating Teddy Bears Picnic Day 🧸🧺

Teddy Bear Picnic Day is celebrated annually on the 10th July. A day for children and families to enjoy a traditional picnic with their teddy bears.

Come celebrate with us tomorrow, children will be able to choose and adopt a teddy bear 💚🧸, enjoy a Scavenger Hunt in the Play area and picnic snacks.

Every Wednesday in Term-time at our weekly Supported Drop-in you will find:

☕️ Coffee and tea hot and abundant and fresh snacks for children.

🛝free indoor play area and a weekly craft/activity to entertain your children while you take a pause.

💚 Support from The Kids Stuff team is on hand. Sue from Clean Slate joins us every Wednesday, offering budgeting and essential money management guidance. Mandy our Activities lead is here to welcome you.
