A Covid-19 update for how we are getting through the pandemic:
Obviously, these are serious times, and we should all do our best to make sure as many people get through this as possible.
Since we stopped doing fairs, and they have all cancelled now anyway, we sell our items online. Without this we have no income.
As of today, the Government has offered no support for self employed people. So, if we do not trade online we will starve.
Now both of us are in high risk categories. We both isolated a week or more before the 'lockdown', and had been away to remote Scotland before that. So we have isolated for 4 weeks more than everybody else.
If you purchase an item from us that can not be posted we have a safe way for you to collect.
All our items are in a container. You would drive up to it. The items would already be outside. You put the item in your car. We do not help you or come close.
We have a tub for you to put the money into. It must be exact. We seal it up. The only things you touch are the item you're buying, which has been in the container for months, and your vehicle.
We make sure we're safe.

Should the Government offer us support that means we don't need to sell then we will stop for the time being. We will still put things online, so that when things get back to near normality they will be there to buy.
All small things can be posted, just like Amazon and Ebay, but we can guarantee that what is in the package is virus free.
If we do not trade we starve. The tips have now shut so we can't even throw anything away and we can't pay for the containers too.
