Unpopular opinions bridal edition ✨🫠
From two bridal shop owners/stylists.

1. “Timeless”
This phrase is over used. A dress doesn’t have to be “timeless” to be your dress. Your dress doesn’t need to be “on trend” to be your dress. What is classed as timeless now, probably won’t be classed as timeless in 10/20 years time. So what does timeless really mean?
Your dress should reflect who you are now , not who you think you may be in years to come.

2. You CAN shop on your own!
There is this taboo around shopping on your own when it could be the best thing you do. If you don’t like opinions and trust your own mind don’t be afraid to trust your own instincts. Some of our best appointments have come from brides shopping on their own.

3. You’re NOT indecisive.
You are just afraid of getting it wrong. You’re afraid of making the wrong decision. That doesn’t make you indecisive that makes you human. Big decisions take time and thought. But the likelihood is you have made pretty good decisions to lead you to this point. “Indecisive” is just an excuse to trust your instinct.
