This rabbit duo may not be my typical style, but their sweetness and promise of spring won me over.

A product of the 1980s collaboration between Franklin Mint and Le Cordon Bleu, I think it was meant to adorn walls rather than serve as a mould.

I'm reminded of my childhood and my father, an artist who collaborated with Franklin Mint during the 1980s. Although it's unlikely one of his designs, it still evokes a sense of nostalgia.

I’ve added some beautiful new pieces to my Etsy shop today. Once they’re gone, they’re gone — vintage is always one of a kind.

As a vintage seller, not all my purchases for my shop make it into Etsy. I can’t resist bringing pieces I love into my own home. From ironstone vases on the windowsill to jugs full of spoons , each item has its own story and I love to make them part of mine.

This charming vintage Patum Peperium Gentleman’s Relish pot dates to around 2000 and features the classic black transfer print branding on white ceramic. A lovely collectible piece for lovers of traditional British food history, advertising ware, or rustic kitchen décor.

A Little History of Gentleman’s Relish
Gentleman’s Relish, also known as Patum Peperium, was first created in 1828 by John Osborn in London. This intensely savoury anchovy paste became a favourite in Victorian homes and was traditionally enjoyed spread thinly on hot buttered toast. Its distinctive name, strong flavour, and long-standing association with British cuisine have made it a beloved delicacy for nearly two centuries. Over time, the ceramic pots and branded packaging became collectible in their own right, valued by enthusiasts of British food heritage and advertising memorabilia.

A lovely little piece of British culinary nostalgia.
