Today I close a six-year chapter,
A journey that carried both laughter and tears;
Nippers, you taught me more than you’ll know,
Shaping my strength through all of these years.
To my husband and children — my anchor, my light —
Thank you for holding me through every storm;
For patience when work stole hours away,
And love that kept my tired heart warm.
To my dad — your constant support was a guiding hand,
Steady as stone when the days felt long;
Thank you for standing beside me so firmly,
A quiet strength that helped me stay strong.
But Mum — your role in the shop was bigger still,
A love that lifted me when I could barely stand;
I simply wouldn’t have made it through this journey
Without your heart, your help, your open hand.
So here I stand, closing this chapter with grace,
Grateful for all that this story became;
Six years of lessons, courage, and love —
And every one of you woven into my name.
