We are reading "THE BEAST OF BUCKINGHAM PALACE" by Wailliams. Tobias and I read together the part where the revoluntionaries, which is a group of elderly ladies in their 80's travelling in a submarine led by the queen's mother attack the guards at Big Ben to start the Revolution by sounding the bell 13 times at midnight......... if your child struggles reading I would definitely recommend this book, it is exciting, he uses great words "gargantuan" and I loved the small wins where you can get your child to read out the larger font 'sound' words. Reading is not my strongest gift, I have the attention span of a goldfish but I have addressed my son's learning difficulties by reading with him every night and this is our fabulous and flawed moment from last night's bedtime story. Thank you David Wailliams for providing the entertainment and thank you Claire House - we purchased our copy there for £1.00 - recycle your books.
