🚧 HARBOUR ROADWORKS 🚧

As most of Torquay now knows the Harbour major refurb works Phase 2 are now well underway!

Whilst we are all very excited to see the end results and this level of investment to Torquay, this is coming at a price with major disruption and traffic congestion in all directions around the Harbourside. A majority of local businesses around the harbour are independently operated and massively rely on all you fine local folk to visit us as much as possible, especially during these quieter months of trade!

We are working closely as a collective community alongside Torbay Council to work on plans to (hopefully) reduce the level of congestion that we’ve been experiencing since last week, but in the mean time we have put together a little map to remind you all of the parking 🅿️ facilities that Torquay harbour has close to it and how to avoid the major congested areas! Did you all know that even Fleet Walk Car Park is open 24/7 and can be accessed via Abbey Road so you can avoid the roadworks completely? We also get the top car park behind new Premier Inn back in action from 1st March!

So our advice to our lovely community is to take advantage of the parking facilities that are provided. We are hoping and praying that the Council reduce the parking rates during this off season to drive people back towards the seafront! (We’re working on this 😎)

Please allow more travel time when heading to Harbour and think about this when visiting us or Otto if possible.

** TWENTY1 SPECIFIC - You can drive around Meadfoot way, and access Beacon Quay Car Park (P4 on map) and avoid the roadworks entirely! **

We have a vacancy for a part-time sales advisor, approximately 12 hrs per week. The hours will include a Saturday. Job role will include all cash desk operations, handling of stock and general running of the shop. Please send or drop in a cv or letter clearly stating the days and hours you are available to work.
