Adding some extra sunshine to your weekend☀️

Bridesmaid Sophie sure does brighten my day when she comes to the studio - this time with her bridesmaid dress in a perfect Summer shade of yellow 💛

Just a hem alteration required for Sophie to be wedding ready last weekend, but this shows the importance of having a fitting for the length - the hem of a dress doesn't always measure the same all the way around! Best to get it measured for you and your shoes🪡

I am now booking appointments for September onwards, with completion from November onwards, so please get in touch soon for your requests required this year🧵

My waiting list for 2027 brides and other special events is growing and I can't wait to start booking you all in soon - just pop me a message if you'd like to be added for first choice bookings for 2027💌

A month ago my eldest had the privilege of doing TWO gym performances at with 🤸🏼‍♀️

Unfortunately for her, she seems to have inherited my short genes and needed some alterations for her Beatles inspired routine🙈✂️👉🏼

I would love to take on some more gym/dance costumes - now booking for Winter 2026/'27🪡

This beautiful dress belonging to Gracie made it's debut to prom last week😍🩵

Just a hem shorten to this ruffled dress, which featured a side slit - taken up across the front and sides and tapered to the back to keep the train🪡

The last of my prom dresses went out this week and the first of the prom photos have arrived😍

This corset-backed, ruffle skirt dress from (in my favourite colour!) looks gorgeous on Gracie🩵

Originally shortened for a small heel, but with the weather this week, Gracie opted for more comfortable sliders instead☀️
Still, not the trip hazard it was before!🪡

Can't beat a Summer colour vibe like this one🧡

Sometimes, your alterations may need a further tweak, which is what happened here with this Summer dress🪡

After a shoulder lift to correctly position the bust and a resizing of the top of the dress for a better fit, Elin also required the neckline and armholes to be slightly reshaped for a much more comfortable fit - which led us to our final outcome🧵

Thank you Elin for trusting the process with your dress alterations and I hope it can make an appearance this week for this sunshine we are having☀️

Please note I am fully booked for Summer alterations, but still have availability November-December for those late Autumn/Winter sewing requests🪡

Bridal alterations🪡💖

Gemma-Lea came in to the studio with a new vision for her dress, which we created by shortening and moving the straps for an over-the-shoulder strap alternative to the original off-the-shoulder look🪡
The bodice was also taken in for a more visually pleasing V shaped corset back and with an additional fitting to swap bra cups and tweak the final placement of the straps, Gemma-Leas vision became a reality😍

This dress was purchased from and paired with a hoop to lift the hem👰🏼‍♀️
