Zap & Toes has been a dream for many years but after a holiday last year and the realisation that our three sons are getting older it was about time to put our dreams in to action and Zap & Toes was formed. We are Jenny and Paul in our former lives Midwife and HGV Driver, but now with full support from The Society Off Shoe Fitters we are trained and ready to measure your feet. We are specialise in

children's shoes from around the world and pride ourselves on excellent service. We look forward to meeting you and helping you to look after your feet.

Did you know, this is our 12th back to school?! 🙀 Which means we have a lot of experience and if we do say so ourselves ☺️ are great at what we do when it comes to finding and fitting the best shoes for your child. But even we struggle to measure and fit 2/3 children in one 20 minute appointment 🤣🤭😂 so please, please, please 🙏 book an appointment for each child you are bringing, one after the other and with the same fitter. That way we can give each child the time needed to get the best, most comfortable fit and we don’t keep the next people waiting over their appointment time. Let’s face it, children hate waiting and parents hate listening to them moan about waiting even more 😂

Where possible please make an appointment when coming to see us. We know that there are much more exciting places that your children and yourselves would rather be in the holidays and we find that if children have had to wait to be seen it can have a negative impact on their shoe fitting experience.

Things to remember when booking your back to school appointments:

✅ Please make an appointment for each child - please don’t book 1 appointment for more than one child, even if you think one of the children only needs a quick check, this can cause us to run over time. You won’t lose your £5 booking fee if your child doesn’t need shoes.

✅ Please make your appointments one after the other with the same fitter.

✅ Please give yourself plenty of time if you have plans after seeing us - we do our very best to keep to time but sometimes we do run over for various reasons and this can be unavoidable.

✅ If you think your child may need extra time please book a double appointment.

✅ If you are worried how your child will cope with a busy shop and think they need a quieter time to come please contact us and we can arrange the best time for you to come.

✅ Don’t forget you socks, insoles/orthotics and any shoes you need checking.

✅ If you have any questions at all please get in contact with us and will be happy to help you.
