Here's a glimpse of the new sample range of the Coast Walk theme bringing the shoreline to life with Sea Scallop and Sea Bouquet in three new colour ways.
These new hand drawn designs are ready to be hand printed next week onto premium linen furnishing cloth and then made into a range of beautiful soft furnishings.

Finest quality fabrics are included in this range, pure linen, cotton, raw silk and velvet and yes, it's all lightly washable.

Well it's hot without a doubt and my biggest concern is keeping our pets comfortable. Our lounge is cool and as I walk through to the garden, my plants are surviving. But the real joy is listening to the water fountain.
The fish pond is starting to look very inviting too. 😆
Work is being done despite the heat. By 3pm, when the sun is at it's hottest, I'll be downing tools and staying in the shade for the rest of the day.

The new Coast Collection is ready.
Here are the first samples and colourways ready to be printed onto fabric.
The new designs are Sea Stars, Sea Scallop and Dulse.
These new designs will be made into soft furnishings and will be on our Cottage by the Sea Collection on our web site soon.

All hand drawn designs and hand printed onto linen fabrics on England.

~NEW~ coming soon.

We're adding a new page to our web site soon, titled Rustic Living & Dining. This will feature hand printed table, picnic linens and a few other ideas for the home.
I'm excited about this because I'm a passionate cook and I think how we set a simple table or tray to present even the most basic of meals is all part of the nurturing ritual of home comforts and homemaking.
Warm bread wrapped in a cloth lined basket, a tea tray offered with frayed edge linen napkins, a picnic basket with a simple tablecloth and table runners to create the centrepiece for al fresco or indoor informal gatherings.
And there's the bathroom.
But we won't spill all the secrets just now 😏

We love our pets here at the studio and care very much for their comfort and wellbeing in this intense heat. Our chief mouser Florence, and her apprentice, Grace, would just like to remind people to keep water bowls topped up and to keep pets out of the heat.
