To all of our lovely customers and community supporters — thank you for continuing to support our small independent shop.
We are proud to provide both new and pre-loved items at affordable prices for our town and surrounding areas, and we work incredibly hard to create a welcoming place for everyone who visits.
We would also like to gently remind people that we are an independent business, not a charity shop. While we always aim to keep our prices fair and affordable, we still have business overheads, running costs, and a family to support behind the scenes. The prices we choose reflect the value of our items and the sustainability of keeping our shop open for the community.
Unfortunately today, while we were serving another customer, we experienced rude comments regarding our pricing from visitors in the shop. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and nobody is ever obligated to purchase from us, but disrespectful remarks towards staff or our business will not be tolerated.
We believe kindness and respect cost nothing, and we will always continue doing our best to offer good quality items, friendly service, and a positive space for our community.
