What do you consider a good birth?

I don’t think many people would answer no to this.
But what makes a good birth?
I believe a good birth means being listened to, feeling supported in your decisions, knowing your caregivers and your birth partner are part of your team.
A good birth if your birth is a caesarean birth, a birth with epidural or gas and air, a birth that didn’t go to plan…so long as you have those other things.
Hypnobirthing is not a type of birth, but a way to help you feel good about your birth and your decisions.

So much time for Lucy Ruddle and her really helpful posts...

When 'experts' make 'rules' about what parents should and should't do with their babies, they are frequently not based on reality! Feeding to sleep is entirely natural, thats why human milk contains sleepy hormones like melatonin when the feeding parent's blood contains these hormones.

Milk helps babies to feel sleepy and that's a great thing!
