A little spot of vintage...

It was such a pleasure to work on this beautiful vintage wedding dress. We carefully took the dress in to enhance Tilly's waist, added structure to the bodice, and reshaped the sleeves to create the perfect fit.

The result was a timeless gown, ready for Tilly's beautiful garden wedding. Thank you for trusting me with such a special dress. ๐Ÿ’•

I shared some of Abi's beautiful wedding photos a few months ago, but she came back to the studio last month because she wanted to wear her gorgeous skirt again.
We shortened the skirt to a flattering midi length so she can style it with lots of different colours, allowing the beautiful lace flowers to really pop. Then, using the train, I created a bespoke poncho to give her even more ways to wear such a special piece.

Safe to say, one very happy, smiley Abi left the studio already planning her second wear. I absolutely love helping brides transform their wedding dresses into something they can treasure and enjoy for years to come. ๐Ÿ’•

Here's the before and after of the neckline transformation. It's amazing how a subtle change can completely enhance the overall look while keeping the essence of the original dress.

Abi booked in while she was off on an amazing adventure travelling the world, so we had a very tight timeframe to complete all of her alterations when she returned just a few weeks before the wedding.

A little trip down memory lane..

Visiting the beautiful little church where my grandparents were married, and where they returned together a few years ago to celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary. Such a special place, filled with so many memories and love.
