Hello ladies!

Firstly I want to apologise for my lack of communication and social media posts!

When you start a business you tend to consider how much you share with your audience and I have decided that I need to bear all and get a few things off my chest.

Whether you think it's an excuse or not, I need to say how I have been feeling for the last few months.

I have been struggling.. as a new business owner and on the personal front.

All the things that make T&B so inclusive and great have also been its Achilles heels. What I want to do is not the norm in this business and it's taken me longer to push through those boundaries than I expected. I have messed up a lot.. but I have also learned and grown in that short time.

As for those who have been here for a while, you will know that I lost a truly significant person in my life, and in all honestly, I'm still finding it difficult.. my mum was my best friend and role model who played a huge part in my life and I miss her daily.

Having said all of that, I have still been ticking away in the background. The women who supported me with my crowdfunder should be receiving their clothing by the end of the month. They have been so patient throughout and I am so thankful for that.

T&B Clothing is more to me than the clothing we wear, it's about building each other up and uniting for the beautiful individuals that we are!

Every business has it's own 'Why`.

Why did we start this in the first place, what motivates us and excites us.

Sorry it is a long one, so bear with me!

Laura from reminded me of this the other day. I have been so stressed with trying to get up and running that I began to loose sight of why I started in the first place.

Last night it hit me... I have decided to make myself a dress for the party season (very last minute) and I just thought, 'why don't I just buy something? `

If only it was that easy. I've spent hours looking for dresses in the past to just end up disappointed because they don't fit well and I know so many of you feel the same.

I found freedom in sewing (I still have a lot to learn) and I want to be able to pass that feeling on to you!

The journey is tough, it's stressful at times but I also love it and want to drive it forward so that you have choice and feel good in what you wear.

Ready for a new week!

It's been all go this weekend getting everything ready for a new week.

I have a new seamstress on bored who is based here in Cornwall. She will be working on the Stephanie maxi skirt for me this week and I'm really looking forward to working with her.

My smock dress is with another Cornwall based seamstress and I hope to show you the results of that within the next week. Eek!

Then next step is the jumpsuit! The one that needs a little extra care to get it right and I have absolutely no doubt she will get there..🥰

Well it was a bit of an early start here today!

I'm full of a cold and woke up first thing to find my youngest human in bed with me, pretty much lying on my face. I couldn't get back to sleep, I am so aware of how fast time is going so I thought I would make the most of the kids being asleep to get some work done.

I kinda liked the early start..

It's so hard to time frame launch at the moment but I will hopefully have an update for you soon!

I haven't introduced myself for a while and with so many newcomers I thought I would say hello.

So hello!

My name is Cassie and I founded Tall & Beautiful Clothing in May 2020, during a national lockdown (as you do!)

A special friend inspired me to start my dream of producing a clothing line specifically for us tallies and here I am.

I am 5'11 and have struggled with my body image for most of my life.

In my 20s I was a UK size 26 and over 20 stone and I felt like I needed to be skinny to be accepted.. So I spent many years of my life loosing weight to the point that I became addicted to eating little and exercising A LOT!

Now I aim to promote healthy, not size.. After all it's just a number...

I would like T&B clothing to be more than just the clothes you wear. I want them to make you feel good, giving you the confidence to be yourself and be proud of who you are! ❤️

I also love meeting new people so feel free to say hello and introduce yourself. 😊

Coming soon!

I feel like I am constantly telling you it's coming soon, so much so, that even I'm getting a little frustrated. However this time, there is a very good reason for it!

I have learn't so much since changing my team and I am finding out about all the tricks that make clothing that extra bit special!

It is important to me that you feel amazing in Tall & Beautiful Clothing and that is what I am currently working on... The finer details so that these clothes last you a long time and you can wear them time and time again.

It's been a busy week!

Oh my days, I have had a full on week of phone calls, zooms, emails and decision making!

In the early days I had one designer who was manufacturing for me and now I have a team of specialists who play their own part in the process.

I am finding my feet again in managing everyone and keeping you all in the loop and I apologise for being quiet on social media.

I'm feeling really excited again and have been working hard on getting the structure and build of my clothing just right so that you can wear it time and time again without the worry of it falling apart!

Oh my goodness, hello Petrol Velvet 😍

Well ladies, there was only one clear winner on my recent velvet survey and what a stunner it is!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how the light hits the fabric and LOOK AT THE DRAPE!!

I am a little obsessed with how the fabric falls (the drape) and this one does not disappoint.

A couple of weeks ago my grandma asked me if I would make her a skirt, I was so honored to be asked!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My grandma, now in her 90's made my clothes when I was growing up and I hated it! When we arrived at my grandma's on a Sunday, she would shout me down to the basement and get me to try on her latest make. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I really didn't appreciate just how much work went into it. Looking back, she may have even helped me feel more comfortable with my height and ever changing body.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It also got me thinking, who inspires or influences you? Is there anyone that has ever helped you feel good about your height? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
