Linda's Autumn Leaf Quilt
The different seasons always see me different colours and now that we are truly into the autumn months, all the colours seem perfect in this lovely Autumn Leaf quilt , made by Linda. As usual, Linda has used her Accuquilt machine to cut her fabric, which always helps to keep her quilts beautifully accurate. For the quilting pattern, Linda chose 'Malachite' designed by Patricia E Ritter.

There are many, many beautiful quilt fabrics on the market, but sometimes they just can't beat the feel and look of a recycled shirt quilt. Sue was inspired to make her first ever quilt from a collection of special checked shirts. With recycled fabrics, you have to improvise with what is in front of you, but once they become a quilt the transformation can be amazing. On this occasion, Sue chose an up-to-date design, Modern Curves designed by Anita Shackleford, which took the quilt to another level. Sue also took advantage of Fabadashery Longarm Quilting's binding service to help finish off her project. A very special quilt - and I think there is another in the pipeline!
