Some brides, like lovely Franky pictured, are lucky enough to find a dress that fits them perfectly without requiring alterations! We just added a belt and steamed her dress.

She says:
“I just wanted to send a quick message to say thank you so much for all your help with my dress!! It was perfect, and Liam loved it!”

Kim looking stunning in her mother of the bride dress from Lady M Occasion Wear in Newick. This dress required some streamlining through the waist and hips for a perfect fit, which involved lifting a resetting some of the floral appliqué motifs.

She says:
‘Rachel did an amazing job on my mother of the bride dress, it was a perfect fit once Rachel had made the alterations.
Rachel answered all my questions and queries with a quick response.
The alterations were so professionally done I couldn’t see where she had needed to adjust the dress.
I would highly recommend Rachel and wouldn’t hesitate to ask her if I needed anything else done.’

Stunning Ashli on her wedding day. Ashli’s 3D tulle dress was made to order by a bridal designer, but needed some refinement in the sleeve design, skirt length and some streamlining in the bodice fit to give her a fabulous cinched in look! Congratulations to you both.
It’s been a wonderful summer with some lovely brides and it’s always great to see the final result and positive feedback!

Beautiful Charlotte on her wedding day. Charlotte was one of the rare and lucky brides whose dress bodice fit her perfectly and needed no adjustment! We altered the front length and the length of most of her bridesmaid dresses. Congratulations to you both!

Now taking bookings for next year. This year was extremely busy so I advise brides-to-be to book in well in advance to secure a slot.

Sylvia looking radiant at her son’s wedding. This beautiful pink tailored two-piece required a fair amount of remodelling to fit Sylvia perfectly. We reduced the shoulder width, tailored the princess and side seams and re-set the sleeves on both dress and jacket to create a more streamlined silhouette.

It’s been an extremely busy spring and summer season so recommend booking early for your special occasions next year!

Before and After! Jess looking radiant on her wedding day. When she first came to me her dress fitted pretty well apart from minor adjustments. However, Jess felt she wanted to feel more confident in her body for the big day and worked hard to achieve her new silhouette - so more drastic alterations were required after all!

It was lovely to be part of her journey and she says of her experience: (Rachel was) “Welcoming, approachable, professional and always smiling!
Not only ensuring my dress fit perfectly but also squeezing in a last minute extra fitting when I lost weight!

Maizee looking stunning in her all out glitter wedding dress with removable over skirt. The bodice required a fair amount of tailoring and we also adjusted the arm drapes and length.

She said in her review: “(Rachel) was kind, warm and professional, and made the whole process stress free. Lots of my guests commented on how the dress looked like it was made for me and I have Rachel to thank for that.”

I absolutely love to receive pictures from the wedding day - seeing my brides happy and confident in their dress is what it’s all about for me!
