TODAY A SOLAR ECLIPSE IS HAPPENING OVER THE U.K.

Your eyes are important!!! Do NOT just look directly at the sun!!!

Even when most of the Sun is covered by the Moon, its remaining light is still powerful enough to cause permanent eye damage and vision reduction. Unlike a total eclipse, there is never a safe moment to look directly at the Sun during the UK’s partial eclipse.

OUR NEW SERIES: “ASK TRACEY” deals with common questions that we get in the practice.
TODAYS QUESTION IS: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TOP OF THE RANGE AND BOTTOM OF THE RANGE VARIFOCALS.
Please note that in order to keep prices super low, some practices top of the range lens, may fall in closer to our lower or middle of the range lenses, so the grading is not exactly the same in every practice. Our top of the range lenses include high spec lenses from the worlds leading brands, such as ZEISS and ESSILOR. Some of the INDEPENDENT labs we use, have fabulous lenses at competitive prices too. We can use the lens markings on your lenses, to indentify your current lens. Best advise is to either keep in the same lens type that you are used to OR upgrade, so you don’t loose working area. When the reading prescription ( the add) increases, the corridor of clear vision becomes narrower. You don’t ideally want to downgrade on your main pair , leading to a smaller working area.
