Our latest corvid, meet Cerys, Queen of the Crows, like all crows she loves shiny things and being a creative kind of crow she made herself a rather lovely crown. Designed and made by Trudi and Pearl from fabric, paint, paper mache and broken necklaces. We might give her a cushion to take the weight off her legs and a hatpin to keep her crown secure before she makes it into the shop.

She won't be in for the opening day, that is on Wednesday, but all the crows will be in by the end of July.

We will be in the pop-up from Wednesday the 15th July between the Heavenly chocolate emporium and Cellar 62. Open Tuesday through till Saturday 10:30 to 4 30 ish, occasionally later) open till 5:00 on Saturdays

The Rebecca riots are part of the history of Llandeilo. Meet Rebecca, the riotous rook. Made by myself and Pearl. This one is a prototype which I have to keep so I can remember how to make them but there will be more Rebecca's coming into our shop in the Angel, . They probably won't be quite ready for the opening this Saturday but will be there within the next couple of weeks.

*** OPENING DELAYED UNTIL WEDNESDAY 15th JULY.*** Our llandeilo pop up shop is back, yay 😍 opening next Saturday and here right through until the end of December. We've missed our lovely customers, so come and see us.

Thank you Tate for providing free wheelchair loan. It made our visit to the Frida Kahlo exhibition so much easier today. There was no fuss, lovely lady on the gallery door just asked security to bring one up. When you live with a disability visiting somewhere that makes accessibility easy makes such a difference. Not everywhere is so considerate.

More or less finished. Textile raven, designed, stitched, stuffed and painted by Trudi and Pearl. His hat and cane are papier mache (and removable). He's got little crystals around his eyes and will probably have a fancy cravat, a bit more hat bling and painted talons by the time he reaches the shop window.
Don't get too excited just yet though, he is a prototype and is not for sale. I need to keep him so that I can remember how to make him again so that we can make more (which will be for sale). I do need some classy raven names though... Any ideas?
