In October 2017 I began to restore a 19th Century cottage in a village in the West Midlands and along with restoring the building wanted to be equally sympathetic with the home furnishings and buy authentic vintage and antique homewares. As the build progressed some of my choices no longer sat right with the decor decisions that I'd made, my friends started to ask me if they could buy these pieces
and so in 2020 Pedlars of Pelsall was born. Here at Pedlars of Pelsall we stock a range of items from mirrors, glassware, kitchenalia and home furnishings to jewellery, books and toys that date back from the Edwardian, Georgian and Victorian eras up to the present day. What never ceases to amaze me is how well our loved ones from bygone eras loved and cared for their belongings, many of the vintage items that come to me have never been used and have been treasured and "saved for best". Equally, a lot of care is taken to ensure that your purchase gets to you safely and we use recycled cardboard and packaging where we can. Thanks for your interest and hope you enjoy looking around.
