Well prom season is now over and what a year! There are no words for this prom dress. Just stunning! The biggest prom dress I have had the pleasure to alter. A lot of work in shortening 8 layers, downsizing a beaded bodice and shortening beaded straps on the dress but wow the drama is insane. What a beautiful dress! This has to win the wow factor vote from me! 💗

Miracles can happen! Had this beautiful dress in yesterday that she was devastated that it had been chewed up by her dog and only a little piece of fabric rescued from it. Was a bit of a jigsaw puzzle to do but put it back together and reapliqued within the day and you would never know! Love making people’s dreams come true.

I am Claire Mead, owner of Claire Dunkley Bridal & Evening Wear I have over 20 years of experience and specialise in bridal and evening wear and all types of repairs and alterations. I used to do the alterations for Harrods working on dresses ranging up to £35,000 and have done the alterations for the show ‘Don’t Tell the Bride’. I have a studio from home in Warboys with floor to ceiling mirrors so you can see yourself throughout the fitting. I have a BA Hons degree in Fashion Design.
