Stockton Heath Festival is a volunteer run 4 day event that offers a range of activities, performances and small business run stalls to explore 🙌🏼

Tiny hands ➡️ Big learning

Messy play is amazing for developing fine motor skills because it naturally gets little hands working in lots of different ways without it feeling like a chore 🩷

Scooping, pouring, squeezing and pinching are all leading to strengthening the muscles in tiny hands and fingers. These are the same muscles that they'll need for holding a pencil or fastening buttons

So all this all messy fun is secreiy building strong and capable hands 🙌🏼
