Hello everyone! It's been a VERY long time since I've posted on here so I thought I would give some updates on what sewing projects I've been up to.

Starting with my WW1 FANY uniform. This was an impression I've been wanting to do for a long time; so when a lady was selling the full uniform including original buttons and badges for only £60 I just had to buy it!
However, it was a UK size 20 in which I had to shrink down to a size 8/10 to fit me but I was up for the challenge.

Kentwell WW1 Event was fast approaching and as with any of my sewing projects, I have taught myself. This means it all comes with a lot of trial and error; a detective game of working out how things are put together. In what I thought would be a simple "pull in the back and arm seams and it will be fine" had a knock on effect of having to adjust the collar and basically pull it apart and put it back together again 😅

After lots of hard work I got there! I feel so fortunate to have worn it to 2 events already this year 😊❤️

WW2 evacuee: I managed to find some cardboard to copy my original gas mask box and label. Modern Baker boy hat stitched over to cover modern buttons along with a pair of his old trousers made into shorts. Lots of fun! 😁😆🧵🎨

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've posted on this page but I wanted to share with you my latest sewing project (in the making) now that it's Halloween season 🎃
Myself and Ethan are very much looking forward to being apart of Chester Castle and Agricola Tower Halloween Ghost Tour to portray the stories of Chester's Witch Trials! 🧙‍♀️
