Saturday Vibes ✂️📍

This is a brand new to market fully bio-based fabric, and ANGEL DESIRED is the first brand to trial this in the UK. 😍🇬🇧

Im about to cut out 3 of my prototype garments here - 1 pair leggings, 1 crop top, 1 tank top.

I will sew them up tomorrow, then conduct a wearer trial (me wearing for the gym, running and every day all day wear) over the next week... to see how the fabric feels on, and moves with the body, also to test it's compression and resistance!

Testing my own proto's myself, and ensuring I'm fully happy with the garments before I launch is super important to me.

The health of my future customers is incredibly important to me also... That's why it's taking me so long to launch, as I've made, trialed and tested sooooo many fabrics... But they have not ticked all of my boxes for skin-planet-health....

So, watch this space for the next big decision ⌚👀🙏

I enjoyed a lovely meal with my son on Friday night, and last night another meal out and cinema with my beautiful mum - she is 80 years young, but acts like she's in her 20's 😂 forever my cheerleader and best friend.

I recorded this 02.37 minute video just over a week ago, and wasn't sure if I should post it, due to my self sabotaging thoughts around me being a failure, due to me taking so long to launch my first range of garments for ANGEL DESIRED 🤯

The video explains honestly, here I am currently at in the process of trying to build a purpose-led ladies activewear / athleisure brand.

MY MAIN AIM IS TO HELP TO PROTECT WOMEN'S HEALTH!

I found something out last week, that's really important to me, and I now need to make yet again, more changes based on this new information...

I have made lots of garment prototypes this past year and a half (I was originally going to launch with 8 styles, but had to reduce to 4 due to the sheer cost of everything), and tried and tested many fabrics (at the start I did not have the knowledge I have now regarding how harmful the fabrics are to our skin, health and planet, especially in the garments that we wear to exercise in).

If you get a couple of minutes to listen / watch my video, you will understand more about why I am so passionate about getting the fabrics for this brand right...

Skin Health & Human Health are my No 1 priority...
and although not everything will ever be perfect, I'm trying my damned hardest to start as I mean to go on to create garments that help to protect your health!

I will be posting another update video next Monday morning, regarding my recent conversation with a lovely textile agent (god I wish I had of spoke with him 12 month ago, it would have saved me a lot of time.
