A few years ago, when I was still young, fresh and fabulous a very close friend told me that a woman over 40 should never, ever take a selfie and post it on social media. 🤳🏻 📱📸

I nodded because at that time, I actually agreed. 😅

Now, with 50 approaching in a few years, I can only laugh. 😃😁

Who cares? Do whatever brings you joy, especially as you grow older. 🙂😎☀️

So I say:
Capture yourself with every little lemon life gives you if it makes you happy. 😉🍋📸

To kill some time on the plane coming back from the Czech Republic to England, I created this short video from a few shots I took around our house and garden before my travels. ✈️📹🎞️

My Instagram doesn’t get much attention when I post wild animals hanging around in our garden but I’m not posting for likes…
I treat this platform as my diary where I often scroll back to refresh my memories and of course occasionally share my art. 🎨

However, to be completely honest,
I secretly hope that there’s at least one person I truly inspire, whether it’s through my art, fashion or simply a positive approach to life: finding joy in the small moments with your loved ones and the nature around us. 🙂❤️🤗💚

Back from the mountains to my sister’s house where I’ve got just a few hours to enjoy a nice cup of coffee on her terrace, enjoying the breathtaking views before my brother-in-law takes us to the airport to head back to my beloved second home, Great Britain. 🇬🇧❤️🩵🤍

Visiting my sister and her family at their mountain lodge in Jizerské Hory, in Zlatá Olešnice.😍🤗

Nothing beats family time filled with sunshine, hiking, nature, volleyball, swimming, and even just relaxing on the patio and reading a book about the one and only Mata Hari. ❤️

P.S. I couldn’t resist to add my father’s snap of a cute little bus stop decorated with a large pot of flowers and a cushion on the bench. 😁
Everything here is clean and uncrowded. 🙂

I’m a huge fan of the old episodes of S*x and the City. In fact, I was so obsessed that I actually flew to New York for the SATC tour and drank Cosmopolitans all day long. 🍹😅

I’ve watched the series a thousand times, so it’s no surprise this Miranda–Carrie chat came to mind while wandering my hometown alone after visiting a friend:

Miranda: “Hot date with your city?”
Carrie: “Exactly.”

Anyway, I think it’s finally time to write my own version, the one I’ve been carrying around in my head (and heart) for years. 😉😁

I needed some advice at the registry office in the Town Hall, so of course I made my appointment with my long-time friend Andrea, who works there.🤗

She’s always so helpful and incredibly kind. This time, she even let me take a quick peek at one of my favourite rooms there, The Ceremonial Hall.
🧡☀️😎🙏🏻

I had been in that room many, many times as a little girl because my uncle used to work there so walking into it again after all these years was quite moving.😊

It was designed by architect Bohumír Kozák and formally opened on 13 November 1929, although some lighter changes such as the wallpaper, were added later, I think.🧡

P.S. I managed to snap a quick reflection of me in the mirror (hopefully unnoticed!) 🤭, while sitting in the waiting room, surrounded by portraits of probably very important historical figures. 😁The most beautiful waiting room ever! 🙂

I can’t quite believe I’m wearing a wool dress in June! 🫣😅

Rushing out to meet a friend, I realised my wrap dress felt a little more revealing than expected and the weather was surprisingly chilly anyway so I reached for the nearest scarf that matched my outfit.

It turned out to be one of my own designs… a large silk scarf I created years ago. 🏊‍♀️😃

Looking back, I think the last time I wore it was on holiday 4–5 years ago!😎☀️💦
I still love the little swimmers supporting one another…
a reflection of the sisterhood and connection at the heart of Sasi London.🩷🤗
The brand itself is something I’m hoping to grow properly one day. No pressure, no deadlines… right now I’m enjoying motherhood and letting this dream take the scenic route. 😉🚤✨

P.S. If I redesigned it today, I’d probably add tropical flowers, leaves or even a few boats. 🤔🚤🌿🌺🐚

Here I am posing in front of my artwork, “Sailor Sisters” (Blue Collection). ⚓️

The inspiration came from a painting my son created when he was little. 🤗
These beautiful memories stayed with me and eventually found their way into this collection. 🩵💙🩵

The temperature has suddenly dropped again so I’m back in my favourite jeans and long sailor-style T-shirt, matching the theme and never stopping dreaming! 😀🙂
My painted girls are on their way to a glamorous summer party aboard a yacht cruising along the French Riviera! 😃🌊🛥️☀️🥂🍾🌸
