Buy Less, Wear More, Make It Last. I'm a super small sewist with a passion for ecofriendly, high quality, handmade fashion and I work hard to create bespoke items of clothing which children love choosing over
and over again. I take on a limited number of orders so that I can carefully craft each piece to the highest possible standards so that clothing will hold up to the hard play that I hope your children will put it through. All of the fabric is OEKOTEX-certified so there are no harmful chemicals and will be safe and comfortable for everyday wear. We have now moved to Organic materials and strongly promote our eco-friendly "Grow With Me" range. These capsule pieces are designed to last 3x longer than normal clothes and will minimise the amount of clothes you need to buy, giving great value for money. All Grow With Me items are cloth bum friendly and our traditional, standard-sizing items can be made to accommodate a cloth bum. Many fabric designs are unique to Alternakid and have been created by handpicked UK-based designers, and printed in limited runs in Europe (almost always in the UK) on soft organic fabric. This is to minimise our carbon footprint and take responsibility for our impact on the planet. I strongly support Reduce Reuse Recycle and where possible I will reuse packaging materials - don't worry, these parcels are still beautifully presented and will even contain a plan table thank you card!
