Another charity shop rescue! (It rescued me)!
This was a brand new labels still on, never been warn coast occasion skirt found in a local charity shop for £12.
£12!!!
The only this wrong with it, was the hook and eye were gone. Which I have happily remedied.
If you see something and it’s not totally perfect, there is usually a remedy. I will now dance all night in this. (When we’re next aloud out that is!)

Can’t wait to get this out again next summer! This is a Newlook Pattern but I added a lot of length to it so it would reach my hips. I also altered the straps to be bow tried straps.

Its Half Term time. Is your not so little one growing faster than the uniform?
These trousers were taken up with plenty of hem to bring down once they start growing faster. The waist band has a Velcro buckle added for little ones who struggle with hook and bars.

I love this dress and there’s so many ways to wear it.
It's a linen look fabric in a light mauve colour. Super soft and breathable.
I found the pattern in a charity shop while on seaside holiday last year.
The person who had it before me bought it in 1975, (There was a little note).
It’s a with a few different variations of this dress and jacket.
Might be making something of them in the future.

Every women needs a shirt dress.
This cotton fabric is so soft and comfy, I have almost lived in this dress this summer, now its getting colder, I going to style it with tights, boots and a leather Jacket I think.

1920s! Lets Go!
I attended a fabulous 1920s themed hen party.
Ordered myself a very fabulous dress, and I know the style isn't meant to be fitted but it still needed taking in.
These seams can be tricky with all the beads and sequins, but it was pretty straight forward. The lining was taken in too.

Adding about 10cm of length to this jump suite really saved.
It's a different material but it does match the material higher up on the jump suite, so it goes very well and looks part of the style.

Who guessed right?
This bomber jacket is the best thing I’ve made yet, and I made it in under a day. The quickest and FIRST outer wear I’ve ever made. You can bet if outer wear are always that quick and easy I’ll be making more.
The Pattern I used was the but I hacked it and added some Zips to the side seam pockets. I love zips in pockets.
And the Fabric is from Lucky fashions Dewsbury. It’s great little shop full of wonders and you’ll be spoilt for choice in there!
The stripy fabric is a cotton jersey remnant I’ve had forever. Finally found a good job for it.
P.s. Thought I’d get myself some custom labels. 💁‍♀️

🌼 This gorgeous dress was that little too wide and a little to revealing for my style.
I closed the button front so nothing was showing making the stitching a little higher so it wasn't as revealing.
Them did the same in the split at the front, so less leg was showing. My last job was to take it in in both sides, one including and invisible zip.
I've been able to enjoy this all summer!
