We just spoke to Joe who is taking on the challenge of conquering all the Wainwrights, a fantastic endeavor to take on, made even more impressive as he is an amputee.

Joe started the Wainwrights as a way of challenging himself and is now using them as a way of giving back to the local community and raising money for Pendleside Hospice.

For “Whalley Day” this Saturday 16th September we have sponsored a duck!
We have chosen to dedicate our duck to our amazing Matriarch Sue (Jon’s wife of 48 years) who we unexpectedly lost on 16th August.
Sue was an active member of Whalley & District Lions Club so what better way to decorate our duck! Sue loved to wear florals and was always wearing her specs just like our duck!
