My lovely neighbour wrote an article about me and my work recently, and it's published in the latest issue of Cara magazine. Cara is a Welsh language magazine, so this has been a great opportunity for me to practice my Welsh.

These slipper boots are made in pink sheepskin with indoor slipper soles.

From my workshop near Llanboidy, Carmarthenshire, I make each pair from start to finish. I cut the sheepskin, emboss, skive and burnish the leather heels, sew the uppers, bind the edges and fix the soles.

Even now I’m learning, always striving to make each pair a little better than the last.
