I’m well known around these parts for teaching lots of lovely folk how to crochet, running lots of fabulously creative crochet workshops and spending my days designing loads of new ways to feed your crochet addiction! no further – I’m the woman for you. I’ve taught over 400 people to crochet in the last few years and have plenty of tricks up my sleeve for the bits you find tricky. I’m also an ex primary school teacher so I have the patience of a saint! Perhaps you’re a dab hand at the crochet already, maybe you’re looking to improve your skills, or just want some new friends to crochet with – book onto a crochet workshop or two and get creative with some like minded crafters. After a couple of hours with yours truly in the crochet cabin, stuffed full of tea/coffee and biscuits, you’ll be feeling super chilled out and relaxed, and will leave with a real sense of achievement (along with the pattern to make more, some new friends and a bag of goodies!)

For those of you who like to shop ā€˜til you drop, step outside of the crochet cabin and into the secret stash! This is where you’ll find all my easy to follow crochet patterns, simple and achievable crochet kits, and handmade accessories for crocheters. (EVERYTHING is also available to buy online!) A lot of my crochet patterns and kits are perfect for all you newbie crocheters out there as they all come with video stitch guides, and additional videos for new and trickier techniques. Sometimes it’s just easier to show you in a video rather than writing it down!

Crochet tote bags are one of those things you don't realise you need…until you've got one!

I don't think I've ever left the house without a crochet project for long, so I wanted a bag that was practical, lightweight and looked a bit more fun than an ordinary tote 🧔

These are roomy enough for your yarn, hooks, pattern and all those little crochet bits and bobs that always seem to come along too. There are six different designs to choose from, so you can pick the one that makes you smile the most.

A huge thank you to Isle of Design for creating these brilliant designs for me!

These bags are perfect for bringing your project along to workshops, Yarn & Yap, holidays or simply keeping everything together at home.

They also make such a thoughtful gift for a crochet-loving friend…although I won't blame you if you decide to keep one for yourself!

Just look at these! šŸ˜

These are all from a recent workshop, and I’m chuffed as nuts with what everyone made 🧔

It’s always amazing to see how the same pattern turns into something completely different once everyone starts choosing their own colours and adding their own little finishing touches.

Now it’s over to you…

I’d love to see what you’ve been crocheting lately! It doesn’t have to be one of my patterns - if you’re feeling proud of something you’ve made, pop a photo in the comments so we can all have a nosey and cheer each other on 🧶🧔

Some of my favourite designs start with someone simply asking, "Could you make...?"

This Shell Yeah! Crochet Hanging Kit did exactly that.

One of my lovely workshop ladies asked me to create an easy-to-follow shell-hanging pattern, and I'm so pleased with how it turned out.

Using just one simple crochet stitch, you'll create a beautiful spiral shell finished with a laser-cut wooden hoop.

Hang it on the wall, fill it with a favourite plant, store little crochet bits and bobs or simply enjoy it as handmade dƩcor.

You can even personalise the wooden hoop with your own wording, making every shell that little bit more special.

I've popped the link in the comments if you'd like a closer look. 🧔 (And this is also a workshop too!)

Yo Crocheters!

I know lots of you will agree with me on this one...the perfect companion to a crochet project is a good cuppa.

I've finally popped these crochet mugs on the website and I'm rather fond of them.

They were designed by the lovely Isle of Design, who also created my crochet notebooks, so they're another one of those matchy-matchy bits that make me very happy.

There are 12 different designs to choose from, all celebrating the things crocheters know to be true. The growing yarn stash. The unfinished projects. The fact that crochet somehow always feels better with tea and cake.

And yes...before anyone asks...the slightly sweary one has made an appearance too šŸ˜‚

They'd make such a lovely gift for a crochet bestie, or a little treat for yourself if your current crochet mug has seen better days.

I'm not saying a new mug will improve your crochet...but it certainly makes tea breaks in the Crochet Cabin feel even better.

Someone’s looking pleased with herself 🧔

And to be fair, so she should be. Tammy was the first to finish her tea cup on Saturday at the secret crochet workshop and just look at that smile!

The Secret Crochet Workshop make is finally out in the wild, which means I’m allowed to talk about it at last.

There are a few kits are available if you fancy making your own, but the colours are limited until my next yarn order arrives….watch this space for yarn delivery updates!

Who else has finished theirs?! ā˜•ļø

PS I’ll have a few of these kits with me on Saturday at The Melksham Makers' Market āļø

Fresh flowers are lovely...but crochet flowers last a lot longer 🌸

This Flower Bouquet Crochet Kit has become one of my favourite gift ideas because it combines a handmade crochet project with a keepsake someone can treasure.

The flowers are quick to make, full of colour and wrapped into a beautiful bouquet using hessian and jute string. They look lovely displayed in a vase, tucked on a shelf or gifted to someone special.

You can also add a personalised engraved wooden gift tag, made by Larry the laser cutter in the Crochet Cabin, to make your bouquet even more meaningful.

And the best bit? No watering, no wilting and they fit through a letterbox too!

Look who turned up to my Secret Crochet Workshop on Saturday…all my crochet besties!

The last few months haven’t been the easiest, and there have definitely been times when I’ve wondered what comes next. So to see all these familiar faces giving up their Saturday, booking onto workshops, supporting my little business and trusting me with their crochet time means more than I can put into words.

Some of these ladies have been with me for years. Some learned to crochet with me. Some travel miles to come to the cabin. And every single one of them helps make this community what it is.

So thank you. For showing up. For sticking with me. For the laughs, the tea, the biscuits, the encouragement and for making The Secret Crocheter what it is 🧔

The big Secret Crochet reveal is coming very soon…and I can’t wait to show you what we made! Watch this space…!

You know those little things that just make you smile every time you use them?! These coasters for crocheters are definitely one of those!

Designed by the brilliant Isle of Design, they're made especially for crocheters and feature 11 different designs celebrating our shared love of yarn, hooks and projects that definitely multiplied when we weren't looking šŸ˜‚

They're sturdy, glossy and perfect for keeping your crochet session cuppa exactly where it belongs.

They also happen to match the Crochet Notebooks and Crochet Pin Badges I shared recently. I have a gift set launching soon, which makes my organised, crochet-loving heart very happy.

Perfect as a small gift, workshop treat, stocking filler or just because you've earned a new crochet accessory.

I do love designing projects that feel a little bit ā€˜ooh fancy’ without actually being stressful to make šŸ˜‚

This Tulip Crochet Basket Kit has quickly become one of my favourites in the cabin.

The chunky cord gives it such a lovely sturdy feel, and then the tulips around the top just make it feel really cheerful once it’s finished.

It’s one of those crochet projects that’s calming to sit and make, but still gives you that little moment of pride afterwards when people ask where you bought it from!

The kit includes the wooden base, and there are step-by-step photos and videos throughout the pattern too, so I’m there to help with the decorative parts.

Perfect for crochet bits, little gifts, yarn storage or simply adding a handmade touch around the house.

I don't know about you, but I've got lots of odd balls of yarn hanging around waiting to be turned into something!

So I designed this colourful Flower Bunting 🌸

It's easy to make, beginner friendly, a great stash buster and perfect if you're in the mood for a cheerful summer project.

The free pattern includes step-by-step instructions, photos and video tutorials, so I'll be with you every step of the way.
