HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR KNITWEAR

& make them live longer!

• Hand/spot wash only to avoid full felting and shrinkage

• No tumble drying to avoid misshapen knitwear

• Pilling or the ‘little fibre blobs’ you get on knitwear occurs naturally but with a couple of wears they will go on their own accord

• If your knitwear is made from natural fibres, it is anti microbial. Meaning if you hang to air outside the odours it may hold will disappear

• Lie flat to dry. If they are hung up the fibres will stretch where it sits on the hanger

Did you know that all Mamie Knitwear Headbands and Beanies are hand washed twice to create softness and fluffiness!

Yarn when it is dyed often has oily residue that needs to be washed off and this washing technique with this yarn is definitely the best way to create the comfiest and cosiest knits!
