Sewing has been a big part of my life since childhood, my first experience was when I was just four years old when I was taught to sew by hand; by the age of seven my Mum's blue 1960s Singer was my next big adventure and by the time I got to Upper School at thirteen I was making clothes for myself regularly, including my school uniform. When in my 30s I wanted to take things further I studied BA (

Hons) Fashion & Textiles with Bournemouth University, after which I took up posts teaching sewing to adults and honing my soft tailoring skills working for Gracie Burnett before going out on my own in 2010. Now I work mostly as a specialist Ladies tailor but do some Gents work too, alterations primarily. It is a real delight working with my clients and it is my firm belief that all women are beautiful and that it is my job to make them feel like they are beautiful. I love my job, and love sharing my ideas and work with you all, so enjoy.
