On Geoff’s board today is a ladies’ jacket that we are looking forward to bringing to life.

It’s being crafted from a beautiful cloth from the Marton Mills Co Ltd collection - a traditional Yorkshire tweed that perfectly balances strength with elegance. It has all the durability you’d expect from a classic British tweed, but with a softer, more feminine feel.

The inspiration may have come from the beautiful shots of Zoe Nicholas

One of the things we love most about bespoke tailoring is taking an idea, a colour palette or a favourite pattern and transforming it into something completely unique for the person who’ll wear it.

Sixty years.

Just writing that number feels incredible.

This year marks 60 years since Geoff Souster first stepped into the tailoring trade as a 15-year-old apprentice. Six decades later, he’s still doing what he loves, creating garments that are made to last, built around the individual, and crafted with the same care and attention to detail that defined his very first suit.

Fashion has changed.
Trends have come and gone.
The way we shop has transformed.

What do you think a bespoke tailor actually makes?

If you asked most people, they’d probably say, “Suits.” And they wouldn’t be wrong… but they’d only be telling half the story.

The reality? Bespoke tailoring is so much more than wedding suits and boardroom tailoring.

We create everything from perfectly fitting jeans and chinos to knitwear, overshirts, bomber jackets, overcoats, raincoats and quilted jackets. If it’s part of your wardrobe, there’s every chance it can be made just for you.

For us, bespoke has never been about selling someone a suit.

It’s about understanding who you are, how you live, what makes you feel comfortable and confident, and helping you build a wardrobe that fits your lifestyle, not someone else’s idea of how you should dress.

Some clients own one bespoke suit.
Some never own one at all.

And that’s perfectly fine.

A modern tailor isn’t here to sell you a suit.
