Hello and Welcome to Katie Bear. I am a stay at home mum to a gorgeous (almost) 2 year old. I originally made a doll carrier for my daughter who loves carrying her dolls around with it so much, I wanted to share that joy with others. I lovingly hand make doll carriers in a range of 100% cotton fabrics, so that your little ones can carry their dolls and teddies just like mummy or daddy. All doll ca

rriers will be CE marked for safety and piece of mind. Please fill out the order form on the pinned post if you would like to order a doll carrier. Estimated shipping times for the doll carriers is 3-4 weeks but I aim to ship them out ASAP and will contact you when I have shipped. Thanks for your patience, it is much appreciated :)

Standard doll carrier - £30 plus p&p. A standard doll carrier will have a main patterned panel and straps/waist in a coordinating colour (just like a canvas Tula). The price for a standard carrier made from in stock fabrics will be £30 plus p&p. I post the doll carriers using recorded delivery. Please contact me for a quote if you would are outside the UK, prefer a doll carrier made completely from one fabric, a fabric I do not stock, or any other specification. For your information:

To be used under the direct supervision of an adult. This is a doll carrier and not intended to carry real infants. Not suitable for children under 18 months. Long cord. Strangulation hazard. The CE mark is an internationally-recognised seal, which ensures that a children's product has met all safety requirements. The safety criteria cover general risks (protection against health hazards or physical injury) and particular risks (physical and mechanical, flammability, chemical properties, electrical properties, hygiene, radioactivity). Apologies for the radio silence. Baby Henry decided to make his appearance 4wks and 1 day early! We are both doing well and settling in at home.

I will be on maternity leave until mid July/beg August. I will try to have a market night early December with in stock carriers available to purchase ready for immediate dispatch.

The redecorating of my sewing room is taking longer than expected. We had to replace our fences as they were falling apart! But hoping to get in done over the next 4-8wks.

I also wanted to let you all know the reason behind the redecorating is that a little bear cub is going to be joining Katie Bear in November 💙 and he will be sharing my sewing room with me.

I’ll be on maternity leave at the end of the year and for most of next year. I’ll have a few KIT days and I will have some market nights with in stock carriers.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note that my order books will be closed for the next 2-3 months. We are redecorating/remodelling the spare room (aka sewing room) so my machines will be in storage until everything is decorated and put back together.

I thank everyone for your patience during this time. I do have a few in stock carriers ready to post if necessary. I will announce when order books will be open again and launch a giveaway.

I will be holding a small market night with a selection of instock doll carriers on 19th December. The market night starts at 7.30pm when I will release a ‘password.’ Use this password to comment on the doll carrier you would like to purchase in the photo album. Fastest fingers first :)

I will upload a preview album tomorrow for you to have a look through :)

Payment will be via PayPal and must be made within 24hours otherwise I cannot post in time for Christmas delivery. All doll carriers will be sent 1st class recorded and postage will be £4.80 (U.K) or £7.65 (U.K.) if spending more than £50.
