The problem with a second-hand shop? Someone buys your window display and you have to start all over again! 🤣🥹

Today’s mission: create another Halloween-inspired outfit using whatever I could find around the shop.

The vision was an enchanted woodland fairy… 🌿🧚‍♀️

A few hours, several outfit changes and a lot of questioning my own decisions later… here she is! 🤣

Woodland fairy? Medieval witch? Mysterious forest wanderer? I’ll let you decide! 👀😂

That’s the beauty of second-hand fashion — a little imagination and completely unrelated pieces can become something entirely different. ♻️

And yes, every piece is available in the shop at £8/kg!

A little inspiration for the shop! 📚♻️

I’ve recently started collecting magazines and publications that celebrate second-hand fashion, sustainability and giving things a new life.

Not necessarily for any particular reason, but simply because I love seeing how the world of preloved fashion is growing, changing and becoming so much more than just buying second-hand clothes.

The idea is to build a little collection here at Finds & Tags, not just for inspiration and fresh ideas, but for our customers to enjoy too!

So next time you’re having a rummage, feel free to pick one up and have a read! ❤️

We spend £10, £20 or sometimes even more on costumes that often get worn just ONCE! And the funny thing is, most of them weigh next to nothing! 🤣

Well, at Finds & Tags, Halloween costumes are no different from the rest of our clothing — you pay by weight, not by the costume! ⚖️

We’re Finds & Tags, tucked away on Bridge Street in Worksop, and we’re not quite your usual secondhand clothing shop.

No fixed prices, no endless price tags. Just rails of pre-loved fashion, a rummage area upstairs and the occasional little treasure you didn’t know you needed. 🤭
