Your space to come and learn all about carriers, wraps and slings and how to use them from newborn through toddlerhood and beyond.

We can also teach you skills such as back carrying and tandem carrying. This page is for parents in and around the Worthing area or those interested in carrying their child in a sling or carrier. We have a Sling Library with a range of types of carriers and wraps available for hire for £10 a fortnight. Our qualified carrying consultant and trained peer supporter are also available for consultations to ensure you and your child's maximum safety and comfort.

Sometimes you don’t need a full babywearing consultation… you just need someone to check the fit, tweak a few straps, or help you try that carrier you’ve had your eye on.

Introducing our new Sling Library Quick Fit appointments 💗

For £15, you’ll get a focused 30-minute 1:1 appointment where you can:

🩵 Bring your own sling or carrier for a fit check
🩷 Reserve & try one carrier from our library before deciding whether to hire
🩵 Get help with positioning, adjustments and comfort
🩷 Ask those little babywearing questions that have been bugging you!

If the first carrier you try clearly isn’t the one for you, we can of course grab another — we’re not going to send you away in something that doesn’t work!

Why don’t we stock these carriers? 👀

First things first — this isn’t us saying these carriers are bad. If you have one, love it and it works brilliantly for you, amazing! ❤️ And there are fantastic sling libraries and consultants who stock and recommend them for families.

They’re just not the right fit for our library.

We carefully choose carriers that we feel set parents up for a safe, comfortable and confident carrying journey from the start.

In our experience, these styles can take more adjusting and troubleshooting to achieve a good fit, particularly with newborns. For us, if something needs lots of tweaking to get right, it’s not what we want to hand to a new parent and send them on their way with.

We want our library to be full of carriers that are intuitive, supportive, comfortable and make those all-important safety checks easy.

Different carriers work for different families — and that’s exactly why sling libraries exist!

No judgement. No carrier shaming. Just what works for our library and the families we support.

Okay but apparently babywearing is kinda chic now… and we’ve got thoughts….

Kinda chic to pick them up.
Kinda chic to follow their cues.
Kinda chic to be their safe place.
Kinda chic to carry the big kids too.
Kinda chic to meet needs before expectations.
Kinda chic to know that sometimes the answer really is just UP.

And apparently, kinda chic to have a mum who was babywearing long before Instagram decided it was cool

For us, carrying has never just been about getting from A to B. It’s connection, regulation, safety, practicality, comfort — and sometimes simply getting through the bloody day with both hands free.

Babies don’t have to learn independence by being denied closeness.
Toddlers don’t suddenly stop needing us because they can walk.
And big kids can need carrying too.

So yeah… keeping our babies close? Kinda chic. 💅
