Doing desk duty is never boring and we do have the most wonderful customers. Some have become much treasured regulars in the 20 years or so that we have been open but the most delightful thing is when we have first time visitirs who never knew we were there but only live 10 minutes away!!

Thank you to everyone who engaged with our post after losing our beloved Molly. She will be truly missed and we were overwhelmed by your messages. We're very sorry to share with all of customers far and near that due to old age and health related problems our lovely Molly has crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈🌉 Molly was our resident 'celebrity' as she appeared on every📺 programme that was filmed 🎥at BYG for the past few years.
She was so very popular with customers asking for her whereabouts and health, including bringing some treats in for her.
Some customers would visit us just to see Molly.🐈 She made herself at home a good few years ago and so we never knew exactly how old she was apart from to say she was a 'good old age'. Placid, friendly and very very popular she could have had a page of her own.
All of us at Bryn y Grog will miss her dreadfully as too will many of our customers.
🐈Sleep well Molly Moo. :-( 🐈 Thank you for being such a wonderful companion.

Looking for something to do this weekend? We're still one of the coolest places in town. No cafe on site but within a very short driving distance of The Red Lion in Marchweil and The Plassey where there are a number of Coffee Shops and Restaurants. Why not make it a morning or day trip out with your bestie!!.
